Steer Clear: 10 Mistakes a New Business Owner Makes in the First Year of Business!

If you are a newbie in opening up a business, take a step back. You need to re-assess everything before putting your money on something that is not worth it.

For your knowledge, here are the Top 10 mistakes new business owners make, and of course how to resolve it:

1. No one gets something out of nothing. One must work in order to get results.

2. If you are priced very low, then clients will assume that your products are compromised and of low quality as well. You have to prepare for a great sales pitch in order to defend your low price.

3. Successful entrepreneurs wake up in the morning with a to-do list for the day.

4. The vital role is CHECKING and not doing the inventory yourself or planning for marketing strategy by yourself or handling the cash register yourself and etc… You need people to help you with that.

5. You need to outsource. There is no one-man expert in everything.

6. You must have short term and long term goals. A business without a goal is as good as dead.

7. Your personal affairs must never be involved in your business affairs.

8. Feelings or Emotions. There will be times that you are disappointed, upset or even angry. It is ok. You can express those emotions if the need brings you to it.

9. Take problems one at a time and assess how you are going to approach it while thinking how it is going to affect your business in the long run.

10. Do not put too much pressure on yourself physically and mentally. A well-rested body will perform better.

Follow these tips and you will come out better than the rest.

To Your Success!
